It's official - Rosie is four years old! She chose a princess theme (big surprise!) The castle cake had all six of the princesses displayed in the windows. Years ago, Trixie sent her a t-shirt that said, "I didn't ask to be a princess, but if the tiara fits..." Well, she's lived up to that t-shirt!
Tate, Rosie, Lake and Daisy take time out for a family birthday picture. I try to do this on every birthday. Sometimes it happens and lots of times it doesn't happen. Today it happened!
Everyone except Daisy gathered before running off to cool down at the splash pad. Everyone had lots of fun on the playground and splashing around the splash pad until someone got hurt. Gigi's ten year old son was trying to impress the other kids and jumped off a monkey bar type thing. He broke his foot in three places and may be facing surgery.
What is it with my family and friends and broken bones?
