Snow day

We had a bit of snow a few weeks ago. The schools closed for a day and a half. I explained to the kids that we could either take a snow day OR go ahead with our work and then when the weather is nice in the spring we could take a day off while the other kids were making up the snow day. They chose to go ahead with our work. The neat thing about it is that they are realizing that if they buckle down and get to work, they can finish in a much shorter amount of time.
