I don't have anything profound to post on this first day of the new year. This was the first year that the boys stayed up until midnight. And woke at 6:00 this morning. The girls stayed up until around 11:00 last night.
Daisy was the first to fall asleep this afternoon. And then it was Tate followed by myself and Rosie.
As far as I know, Lake and John Henry stayed awake this afternoon.
What about you - Did you stay up until midnight last night? If you did, were you able to nap today?

We had a party for the kids that ended at 9pm. That's when we told the kids it was a new year. My youngest went to bed at 8:30. Inwe and Larien went to bed at 10:30. If I made it past midnight, I didn't know it.
