The cutest reindeer

Daisy's class has been talking about Mr. and Mrs. Claus, jingle bells, and reindeer this week. When I picked her up from school today, this is what I found.

Yes, that is our Christmas tree in the background. If you look closely, in between the reindeer antlers you can see an envelope in the branches of the tree. It's a present to me from Lake.

The 'present in the tree' is a family tradition. From our very first Christmas together, John Henry's family always put a few presents in the branches. We've continued that at our house. I am honored to have the first gift in the tree.
