Today is our thirteenth anniversary! We have been together for a little over eighteen years. We are both thirty-six. We have been together for half of our lives. That thought amazes me.
OK. So what are we doing to celebrate? Yesterday my mom kept the kids and we went on a long date. We had about six hours to spend together. We did a lot of walking and talking. There is something to be said about uninterrupted conversations! We have a big decision to make and were able to discuss it at great length yesterday.
As for today we haven't decided what we'll do. It will definitely be something the family will enjoy. Usually when we have time like this we get in the van and just drive until we find something cool. At first the boys didn't like to go on these trips. Now they call it an adventure!
