We met with Rosie's surgeon yesterday morning and really like him. He was very sweet with Rosie. He will be removing the original mole that she had the biopsy of plus two other moles on her scalp. One of these is above her ear and the other is on the top of her scalp. The one on her scalp is a new one that I discovered two weeks ago. It has changed in size, shape and color within the last ten days.
The surgery will be at the hospital on September 21st.
She is being very brave about it. She had a few questions that I answered honestly and then she was fine. The other kids are being great about it. Daisy has been checking her baby dolls for moles - she even checked my head for moles this morning! Tate thinks his sister will be fine. Lake (the worrier of the group) has voiced concern about the hospital visit and surgery. I explained that she would be asleep during the surgery and that seemed to help him cope.
