I received the call yesterday from the boys' baseball coach. Although he was not the coach we had expected, we are still very excited that baseball season is upon us. Lake seemed the most excited that his brother was going to be on his team. He couldn't seem to understand that they would be on the same team regardless of how the tryouts went.
So, what was the response when I told them the name of their team was the Fighting Turtles? (Actually, they are the Maryland Terrapins but the coach thought the boys would like Fighting Turtles better)
Tate: "YES! That's cool!"
Lake: "Yay! We get to be on the same team AND Mommy's favorite thing is on the shirt!"
