We just returned from a great trip on Saturday and then had a wonderful Easter Sunday. I have loads of photos to share - hopefully soon.
Right now we are dealing with the loss of our sweet dog, Gracie. She is Annie's litter mate. On Sunday night she wasn't doing well. She was having seizures and bleeding internally. John Henry took her to the vet yesterday afternoon and we had to make a very tough decision. The boys are really struggling with the events and the loss of a very sweet dog.
When things settle down, I'll catch up on our trip.

Pretty in pink
Shortly after I had Rosie, someone told me that red heads shouldn't wear pink. I can't remember who made this comment to me, but I do remember telling them that they were crazy. After all, I had two boys and it was time for a little bit of pink. Plus, pink and green are my favorite colors. My love of pink has passed on to my girls - they are crazy about anything pink.
When Rosie and I were shopping for a new outfit for picture day she kept going back to this pink skirt and sweater. As a side note, my girls are WAY different from my boys when it comes to picture day. The boys? I can pick them out a shirt, tell them they have to wear it for picture day and we are done. Their main concern is whether or not picture time will interfere with their precious P.E.
OK. Back to Rosie. We shopped for a new outfit, she picked out the pink sweater and skirt. She was worried about a girl in her class not having a new outfit to wear. Evidently all the girls had gotten together and had a discussion about what they were wearing for picture day. This is a big day for these five year olds.
So, you tell me. Well, maybe I should say agree with me!
She is just beautiful in pink, don't you think?

Recital costumes
The girls received their recital costumes a few weeks ago. Yesterday was picture day for Rosie's class and today is picture day for Daisy's class. I wanted a picture of the girls together so Daisy gets to 'dress up' in her costume two days in a row! Believe me, she is not the least bit upset about this either!!
